Antony Waste Handling Cell secures ₹386cr Door-to-Door waste management contract

Antony Waste Handling Cell Limited (AWHCL) proudly announces its wholly-owned subsidiary, AG Enviro Infra Projects Private Limited, has clinched a substantial ₹386 Crore contract for Door-to-Door Collection and Transportation (C&T) of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) in the Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. This significant contract spans five years, with an option for a 2-year extension.

In a strategic move, the PMC will be responsible for the project's infrastructure procurement, subsequently entrusted to AWHCL for operations. This partnership embodies a joint commitment to offering sustainable waste management services to the city.

MD & CEO of AHWCL, Jose Jacob, expressed his excitement about the contract award. He stated, “We are thrilled to share the news of our successful contract win for a ₹386 Crore C&T Contract with the Panvel Municipal Corporation. In this 5-year contract, with the option of a 2-year extension, the corporation has agreed to shoulder the responsibility for all capital expenditures associated with this project.
