Bajel Projects awarded ₹564.20 crores transmission line contract by Power Grid

Bajel Projects Limited has recently disclosed that it has been awarded a significant contract by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). This contract is in line with the Scheme of Arrangement between Bajaj Electricals Limited (Demerged Company) and Bajel Projects Limited (Resulting Company) under Sections 230 to 232 of the Companies Act, 2013.

 

The awarded contract pertains to the supply of services for transmission lines in Andhra Pradesh. The scope of work includes 400kV New Transmission Lines covering a distance of 83.12 kilometers in Ananthapur and 183 kilometers in Kurnool. The total value of the contract stands at ₹564.20 crores, and the projects are expected to be completed within 21 months from the date of the respective Notices of Award (NOA).

 

This contract win is expected to have a positive impact on Bajel Projects Limited's operations and financial performance.
