Central Bank of India partners with Capri Global Housing Finance for Home Loans

Central Bank of India has taken a further step in expanding its home loan offerings by entering into a strategic Co-Lending Partnership with Capri Global Housing Finance Limited.

The collaboration between Central Bank of India and Capri Global is expected to result in a considerable portfolio expansion for both entities. Capri Global is a registered Housing Finance Company (HFC) regulated by the National Housing Bank.

The Mumbai-based company specializes in providing housing loans and maintains a strong presence across India, with branches spanning 155 locations across 9 states and union territories. As of June 30, 2023, the company's Assets Under Management (AUM) exceeded Rs. 2700 Crores.

Under the terms of this Co-Lending arrangement, Capri Global will be responsible for originating and processing home loan proposals based on jointly defined credit parameters and eligibility criteria. Central Bank of India will then assume 80% of these home loans under mutually agreed conditions. Capri Global will oversee the servicing of these loans throughout their life cycle.

This partnership is anticipated to bring enhanced convenience and customer satisfaction to their clients and facilitate an expanded market presence throughout India.
