LIC dilutes its shareholding in Hindustan Copper Ltd to 8.171%

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has reported a decrease in its shareholding in Hindustan Copper Ltd (HCL) from 10.249 percent to 8.171 percent, as revealed in exchange filings. LIC's equity shares in HCL reduced from 9,91,10,743 to 7,90,11485 during the period from 19.07.2023 to 27.09.2023. 

 

The average cost of acquisition for this 2.078 percent decrease was Rs 150.84. HCL, the first Indian PSU and a vertically integrated copper producer, is engaged in various stages of copper production, from mining to the conversion of copper into saleable products.
