LIC dilutes stake in National Fertilizers Ltd

India's largest insurer, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), has disclosed a decrease in its stake in National Fertilizers Ltd. The move saw LIC's holding in the company drop from 9.275% to 7.257%, a reduction of 2.018%. The sale occurred between August 10, 2023, and October 6, 2023, at an average cost of INR 70.58 per share.

 

National Fertilizers Limited operates in the fertilizer industry and is primarily involved in the production and marketing of Neem Coated Urea, Bio-Fertilizers (solid & liquid), and other allied industrial products. This transaction is considered an ordinary course of business for LIC.
