Satia Industries secures ₹340 crores in contracts for textbook paper supply

Satia Industries Limited (SIL), which is India's largest wood and agro-based paper manufacturers and is a prominent player in wood and agro-based paper manufacturing in India, has successfully clinched substantial contracts.

These contracts involve the supply of paper for printing textbooks and come from several esteemed entities, including the Text Book Production and Marketing (Bhubaneswar), M.P. Text Book Corporation (Bhopal), Rajasthan State Textbook Corporation (Jaipur), and Maharashtra State Bureau of Textbook Production & Curriculum Research (MSBT) Pune.

In total, these contracts amount to a whopping 34,000 metric tonnes (MT) of paper, valued at over Rs 340 crores. This achievement underscores the trust these organizations have in Satia Industries' ability to meet the rising demand for writing and printing paper, aligning with the New Education Policy (NEP).

Mr. Chirag Satia, Executive Director of Satia Industries, expressed his gratitude for the long-standing partnership with these significant customers. He emphasized their trust in Satia Industries' quality and commitment to delivering substantial volumes on time. This is especially crucial for ensuring that textbooks reach students before the commencement of the new academic year.

These orders from textbook boards are not only significant but also offer attractive prices and higher operating margins compared to open market transactions.
