Aurobindo Pharma inaugurates greenfield manufacturing unit of Eugia Steriles in Vishakhapatnam

Aurobindo Pharma Limited has announced to the exchanges regarding inauguration of green-field manufacturing Unit of Eugia Steriles Private Limited, a 100% step-down subsidiary of the Company.

According to the regulatory filing, this unit will manufacture general injectables and expected to supply globally in phases. 

The project cost of the Unit is approx. Rs 600 crore and the commercial production will be commenced during Q4 of FY24 in phases, the company said.

Accordingly, the green-field manufacturing unit is located at Plot numbers 1 and 2, APIIC Industrial Park, Parawada, Phase III, Tadi Village, Parawada Mandal, Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh of Eugia Steriles Private Limited, a 100% subsidiary of Eugia Pharma Specialities Limited and a step-down subsidiary of the Company.

At around 9:49 AM, shares of Aurobindo Pharma were surging higher by 0.64% at Rs 914.95 per share on the BSE.
