Bajaj Auto records sales of 3.31 lakh units in April 2023

Bajaj Auto stocks hit new 52-week high on Tuesday morning after reporting sales data of April month 2023. 

The company has reported a total sales of 3,31,278 units in April 2023, 7% higher from sales of 3,10,774 units recorded in the same month a year ago.

According to the exchange filing, domestic sales in two-wheelers segment stood at 1,81,828 units in April 2023, higher by 95% as compared to 93,233 units, a year ago.

However, exports for April 2023 fell by 43% to 1.18 lakh units. On the other hand, overall domestic sales more than doubled year-on-year to 2.13 lakh units.

Meanwhile, commercial vehicles sales were at 31,344 units in the domestic market during April 2023 with exports being at 11,949 units, down by over 41%.

On Sensex, at around 12:26 PM, shares of Bajaj Auto were trading higher by 1.16% at Rs 4481 per share. The scrip hit 52-week high of Rs 4,502 per share on Tuesday morning trade.
