Bajaj Healthcare expands operations with Alkaloid extraction plant in Gujarat

Bajaj Healthcare Limited ("BHL") announced the successful commissioning of its Alkaloid Extraction Plant in Vadodara, Gujarat, marking a significant milestone in its operations.

 

This plant's commissioning signifies a substantial expansion in BHL's production capacity, nearly tripling its capabilities. The company is now well-positioned for a new phase of growth and remains steadfast in delivering high-quality products to its customers.

 

Commenting on this achievement, Mr. Anil Jain, Joint Managing Director of Bajaj Healthcare, expressed his satisfaction, saying, “We are very happy with the successful commissioning of the Alkaloid Extraction Plant in Vadodara, Gujarat. BHL is currently the only private sector entity undertaking the vital Alkaloid Extraction work for the Government of India. This accomplishment underscores the unwavering dedication and hard work of our team.”

 

In addition, Bajaj Healthcare proudly claims the title of the first private company in India to build a plant for processing poppy straw into Alkaloid, boasting a substantial capacity of 2500 metric tons per annum. The newly commissioned plant in Vadodara, Gujarat, is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and has been constructed to meet the highest industry standards.
