Blue Dart implements general price increase from 2024
Sending items through Blue Dart will become more expensive as of 2024. Blue Dart Express Limited, a subsidiary of the DHL Group, has announced a general price increase (GPI) that will take effect on January 1, 2024. Depending on the shipping profile, there will be an average 9.6% increase in shipping prices from 2023 to 2024.
According to Blue Dart's regulatory filing, it examines and modifies its price every year in order to constantly supply reliable, dependable, and effective solutions to its esteemed customers.
"This adjustment considers a multitude of factors including the current macroeconomic factors, geopolitical tensions; tighter monetary and fiscal policies, inflationary pressures, and exchange rate fluctuations, all of which impact the cost structure, there is a need for a reasonable tariff adjustment," it added.
"Customers signing up from October 1 to December 31, 2023, will not be impacted by the price increase," Blue Dart stated.
