Envision Energy Secures 653 MW wind project from JSW Energy

Envision Energy, a leading player in the wind energy sector, has clinched a significant project from JSW Energy, totaling 653.4 megawatts (MW). This endeavor, set to be operational in stages by the end of 2024, is projected to generate 2,200 gigawatt hours (GWh) of clean energy. This substantial contribution aligns with India's ambitious target of achieving net-zero emissions.

According to a statement, Envision Energy will deliver 198 units of EN 156-3.3 MW WTGs (wind turbine generators) as part of the agreement with JSW Energy. The collaboration is poised to significantly bolster renewable energy capacity in the regions of Karnataka and Maharashtra.

Both companies view this partnership as a critical step towards accelerating the transition to green energy and combating the climate crisis. Kane Xu, Global Vice President of Envision Energy and Chairman of Envision Energy India, affirmed the commitment to crafting sustainable solutions for a greener future.

Envision Energy specializes in the design, manufacturing, and operation of intelligent wind turbines and energy storage systems, in addition to offering green hydrogen solutions. In India, the company has already successfully commissioned 330 MW of wind projects.
