Fortis Healthcare signed definitive agreements to acquire a hospital in Haryana. 

For the purchase of Medeor Hospital Manesar, a multi-specialty hospital located in Sector-5, IMTManesar, Tehsil & District, Gurgaon, Haryana, the company signed definitive agreements with MHL and VPS Health Care Private Limited.

For a lump sum payment of Rs 225 crore, the acquisition includes all the fixed and movable assets present at Medeor Hospital Manesar.

Around 350 beds can be accommodated in Medeor Hospital Manesar, and it will take around 9 months to operationalize all of those beds.

Certain governmental and regulatory approvals are necessary for the transaction to take place.
