Hero MotoCorp sales rises 3% to 5.36 lakh units in September

Hero MotoCorp stocks under pressure during Tuesday's morning trading session post announcement of its September sales numbers.

 

The world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, sold 5,36,499 units in the month of September 2023, registering a growth of more than 3% over the corresponding month of the previous fiscal when it sold 519,980 units in the month of September 2022, the company said.

 

In September 2023, the company achieved the sale of 4,94,270 motorcycles, upsurge from the 4,80,237 units sold in the same month the previous year.

 

As the country enters the peak festive season in the coming weeks, Hero MotoCorp expects the demand to be on a healthy trajectory, led by macro-economic factors.

 

During morning trading, Hero MotoCorp was trading at Rs3008.55 per share lower by 1.58% on the BSE.
