Reliance Jio Infocomm, a telecom provider in the nation, announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with Plume to offer its customers services for small businesses and smart homes.
According to a release, the partnership would provide services to about 200 million locations in India using Plume's scalable cloud platform.
“With this new partnership, Jio will deploy 'HomePass' and 'WorkPass' consumer services enabled by Plume's AI-powered and cloud-based platform, including whole-home adaptive WiFi, connected device and application performance optimisation, cyberthreat protection for connected devices, advanced parental controls, WiFi motion sensing and more," according to the release.
Jio, the release said, is harnessing Plume's cloud platform "to bring best-in-class in-home experiences to consumers in India".
Jio’s customer support and operations teams will be able to locate and isolate network problems, detect, assess, and respond more quickly to performance-related issues with access to Plume's 'Haystack' Support and Operations Suite. They will also be able to track the entire customer experience.
According to Reliance Jio President Mathew Oommen, Jio will keep improving and strengthening its connected home service offers and user experience with the help of partners like Plume that provide scalable and cutting-edge platforms.
