JSW Steel Launches JSW Magsure to Reduce Reliance on Imported Steel
JSW Steel on Thursday, May 30, said it has launched an indigenous Made In India product JSW Magsure to reduce India’s reliance on coated steel imports. The company is the first and only Indian steel producer to manufacture and market zinc-magnesium-aluminium alloy-coated steel products domestically.

JSW Steel said India’s demand for zinc-magnesium-aluminium alloy coated steel in the current fiscal year is expected to double to 2.5 lakh tonnes, with a market value of 2,200 crore rupees.
Magsure is used in various applications such as protection against corrosion, including steel structures in solar installations, silos, guard rails and air conditioning parts.
