KEC International gets new orders worth Rs 1,012 crore across multiple sectors
Engineering company KEC International Ltd announced on Tuesday that it has received new orders totaling Rs 1,012 crore from a variety of its business portfolio areas.
According to a stock exchange statement, the company's civil business division has signed contracts with new clients in India's FMCG and data centre industries.
A data centre is being built in Western India, while a manufacturing plant for a well-known international FMCG company is being established in Southern India.
Projects in both India and the Americas have been secured by the transmission and distribution (T&D) division. These include the provision of towers, equipment, and poles throughout the Americas as well as a sizeable 765 kV Transmission line order in India from an existing private client.
KEC International's cable division has secured orders for the supply of various cable types, both in India and overseas.
With these new orders, KEC International's year-to-date (YTD) order intake has reached an all-time high of over Rs 6,500 crore, showcasing a robust growth of 11 percent compared to the previous year.
