L&T Construction clinches key transportation infrastructure project in Mumbai

L&T Construction has secured a significant project for its Transportation Infrastructure business vertical. The company has been awarded the prestigious Dahisar Bhayander Bridge project in Mumbai by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM).

The Dahisar Bhayander Bridge project holds immense importance as it involves the construction of a 4.5 km long bridge connecting Dahisar and Bhayander. Currently, commuters endure a travel time of over 45 minutes between these two locations. With the completion of this bridge, travel time is expected to be significantly reduced.

The project features two separate carriageways and a multi-level interchange at Dahisar and Bhayander, facilitating seamless entry and exit for commuters. Additionally, two large navigational spans will be incorporated along the creek.

This prestigious project adds to L&T's portfolio of infrastructure endeavors in Mumbai. The company is already actively involved in executing two packages of the Mumbai Coastal Road projects, also for the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM).
