L&T's Hydrocarbon business secures mega Middle East contract for gas compression plants
Larsen & Toubro (L&T), through its Hydrocarbon Business (L&T Energy Hydrocarbon – LTEH), has achieved a significant milestone by securing a Letter of Intent for a substantial onshore project in the Middle East from a prominent client.
The project entails the engineering, procurement, and construction of Gas Compression Plants. These facilities will encompass Gas Inlet Facilities, Gas Compression Systems, Produced Water Handling, Propane Refrigeration Systems, Condensate Transfer, and Utilities, all integrated with existing Gas Compression Plants in new onshore facilities.
To meet the power supply needs of these Gas Compression Plants, L&T's Power Transmission & Distribution division will establish three 230 kV Extra High Voltage substations.
L&T's Chairman & Managing Director, Mr. S N Subrahmanyan, expressed his pride in this achievement and its significance for both L&T and India, emphasizing the company's capabilities in managing complex projects and delivering them on time.
