NBCC receives order worth Rs 2,000 crore from Kerala State Housing Board

The Kerala State Housing Board (KSBH) has given the National Buildings Construction Corporation Limited (NBCC) an order worth Rs 2,000 crore, the company stated on Tuesday, September 5. The project is for the construction of a 17.9-acre land parcel owned by the Kerala State Housing Board in Kochi, Kerala.

 

NBCC in a regulatory filing on exchanges said, “NBCC has signed MoU with Kerala State Housing Board for the Development of 17.9 acres of land parcel of Kerala State Housing Board at Marine Drive, Kochi, Kerala.”

 

The company further said the time period for the order execution is yet to be decided.

 

On September 4, 2023, the government of India awarded NBCC a contract for Rs 20 crore for remodelling and building work at Mumbai's Mint.

 

The project includes renovation work, the creation of a transit camp, and the planning, designing, and implementation of structural and non-structural repairs at the Mint, Mumbai plant grounds. It also includes planning, designing, and execution of restoration work.

 

Under regulation 30 of SEBI, the contract has been awarded domestically. It is a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) contract on a deposit work basis.
