OIL's In-House team successfully caps well NHK-67 near Duliajan

In a commendable feat of teamwork and determination, OIL's in-house Crisis Management Team, assisted by the internal Task Force, effectively halted the uncontrolled discharge of water from Well No. NHK-67 near Duliajan. This significant achievement was realized after nearly 60 hours of unwavering effort, culminating at approximately 12:44 pm today, resulting in a pressure reading of zero as the well was successfully sealed.

 

OIL extends its heartfelt gratitude to the local community, District Administration, the State Government of Assam, and the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, for their invaluable support throughout this operation.
