RITES emerged as the lowest bidder (L-1) in a Railway Board tender

RITES emerged as the lowest bidder (L-1) in a tender issued by the Railway Board. The contract is for service testing and inspection of railways for the Indian Railways, to be executed in five years with a one-year extension.

 

The total size of the order is the inspection of 60,00,000 MT of rails, with estimated inspection fees of Rs 65.4 crore plus taxes to be received within a five-year period.

 

The company inked a deal with NHPC on August 21 to collaborate on full consulting services for rail infrastructure facilities for NHPC's hydropower projects.
