Suzlon Secures New Orders of 402 MW from Juniper Green Energy

Suzlon Group on May 22 announced that it has won new orders of 402 MW from Juniper Green Energy for the 3 MW series. Suzlon will supply and install 134 wind turbine generators with a capacity of 3 MW each.

The project is situated at Fatehgarh in Rajasthan and has the potential to provide electricity to nearly 3.3 lakh households. 

The project will also help curb Carbon Dioxide emissions of nearly 13 lakh tonnes per year.

These orders are repeat orders from Juniper Green Energy for Suzlon's larger rated 3 MW, S144-140m turbines from the 3 MW product series.

"This order helps us expand our footprint in Rajasthan," said Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman of the Suzlon Group. Tanti also stated that Juniper Green has been a long-term and repeat customer of the company.
