Suzlon secures order for 50.4 MW Wind Power Project in Gujarat
Suzlon Group, India’s leading renewable energy solutions provider, has received an order for a 50.4 MW wind power project from Juniper Green Energy Private Limited. The project, located in Dwarka district, Gujarat, is set to be commissioned in 2025. Suzlon will install 16 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW, utilizing the Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower design. This project marks a repeat order for Suzlon's largest turbine in the 3 MW series.
The project is expected to provide electricity to approximately 38 thousand households and reduce approximately 1.51 lakh tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. Suzlon will handle the equipment supply, as well as the project's execution, including erection and commissioning. Additionally, they will provide comprehensive operations and maintenance services post-commissioning.
