Tata Power plans to raise Rs 1,500 crore via 10-year bonds

Tata Power is planning to raise around Rs1,500 crore through the issuance of 10-year bonds to support its business operations. The company aims to set the yield on these bonds at approximately 7.80%. In the previous fiscal year, Tata Power witnessed significant growth in consolidated revenue and operating profit. 

Additionally, Power Finance Corporation (PFC) recently raised  Rs  3,896 crore through 15-year bonds, while PFC and its subsidiary REC have collectively sold debt worth Rs. 25,000-30,000 crore. REC is expected to raise up to  Rs  3,000 crore through perpetual bonds.
