Transformers and Rectifiers surges 5% on Rs 184 crore order win

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited has been awarded orders of Transformers for total contract value of Rs 184 crore from one of the Central Utility on Tuesday.

The said orders fall under the normal course of business, the company said to the exchanges. 

With this order, the Company’s Order book as on date stands at Rs 1555 crore.

Commenting on the development, the company said, “We continuously thrives to deliver quality products and services and over a period of time has become a leading manufacturer of transformers in the Country.”

On Tuesday, at around 12:40 PM, shares of Transformers and Rectifiers were trading higher by 5.6% at Rs56.83 per share on the BSE.
