Trident commissions expanded capacity of sheeting biz & co-gen power plant

Trident Ltd has announced that the existing capacity of the Sheeting Business and Co-Gen Power Plant at Budhni, Madhya Pradesh, has been enhanced with effect from September 27, 2023.

 

According to the filing, the Sheeting capacity has been increased from 1,20,000 Meters/Day with 66.3% utilization to 1,77,000 Meters/Day by adding new capacity of 55,000 Meters/Day. 

The funding for this project was done through External Borrowings (Rs 170 crore) and Internal Accrual (Rs 58 crores), the company informed to the exchanges.

Further, the Co-Gen Power Plant capacity has been increased from 49.4 MW to 65.7 MW with addition of 16.3 MW at an outlay of Rs 169 crore. The project was funded through External Borrowings (Rs 120 crore) and Internal Accrual (Rs 49 crore), the company said.
