Wipro launches Cyber Defense Center (CDC) in Dusseldorf, Germany

IT company Wipro on September 13 announced the launch of its Cyber Defense Center (CDC) in Dusseldorf, Germany. According to the company, the center will provide clients with round-the-clock cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, and remediation support.

 

This center will make use of Microsoft's portfolio of cybersecurity technologies, especially Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Defender for IoT solutions, as part of Wipro and Microsoft's global partnership. 

 

According to Wipro's Head of Europe Cyber Security and Risk Services, John Hermans, our aim to strengthen our cybersecurity capabilities in Europe and offer cutting-edge solutions to our customers includes our Cyber Defense Center in Germany.

 

Hermans stated that Wipro was extending its expertise to cloud-delivered services, such as SaaS and IaaS as well as environments for operational technology and IoT. 

 

Wipro's Cyber Defense Center would enable enterprises to actively manage IT security and compliance, according to Microsoft General Manager Global Partner Solutions Germany and Member of the German Board, Edith Wittmann.
