Yes Bank acquires shares of Yes Securities worth Rs 100 crore

Yes Bank acquired 1.8 crore shares of Yes Securities for Rs 55.75 each for a total of Rs 99.99 crore.

100% of Yes Securities (YSIL) paid-up share capital is held by Yes Bank.

On May 16, Yes Bank submitted an application to the Reserve Bank of India seeking approval for infusing an additional Rs 100 crore in capital into Yes Securities.

“Further infusion of capital by the bank will enable YSIL to keep adequate margins with the stock exchanges and clearing corporations for executing client trades seamlessly without any interruptions and to increase the exposure in margin trading facility given to clients,” the bank said in a regulatory filing. The RBI accepted the lender’s proposal on August 17.
