    Below are the steps that you can follow to update the aadhaar card photo:

     

    • Step 1: Locate and visit your nearest Aadhaar Permanent Enrolment Centre.
    • Step 2 - Collect the Aadhaar enrolment form/download the form by visiting the official website of UIDAI.
    • Step 3 - Fill in the form and provide the biometric details.
    • Step 4 – A photograph of you will be clicked by the executive.
    • Step 5 – Pay a fee of 100 to update the biometrics details on the Aadhaar.
    • Step 6 – A slip will be provided with the Update Request Number (URN) to check your request status.

    Please note that you don’t need any documents to change the photo on aadhaar card.

     

    • Step 1: Visit the official website of UIDAI.
    • Step 2: Click on ‘Download Aadhaar’.
    • Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar number, enrollment ID or Virtual ID.
    • Step 4: Enter the captcha and click on ‘Send OTP’.
    • Step 5: Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
    • Step 6: You can download the Aadhaar card with an updated photo.
