- The Company is engaged in business of Rayon, Nylon, Nylon Tyre cord, fabrics and industrial yarns etc. Prior to the Demerger, Company was a wholly owned subsidiary of DCM Shriram Industries Limited.
- The main object of the Company is to carry on the business of design, development, manufacturing and sale of commercial vehicles.
- Pursuant to the Scheme becoming effective on 17th December, 2025, the Rayon Business of DCM Shriram Industries Limited has been demerged into the Company with effect from April 1, 2023. In terms of the said Scheme, 8,69,92,185 Equity Shares of Rs 2 each fully paid up have been allotted to the shareholders of DCM Shriram Industries Limited on 26 December, 2025.
