Bajel Projects Limited secures INR 97.65 crore contract from Power Grid Corporation

Bajaj Electricals Limited, in compliance with the observation letters issued by stock exchanges regarding the Scheme of Arrangement with Bajel Projects Limited, has announced that Bajel has been awarded a service contract by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited. The contract, valued at INR 97.65 crores, is a significant development for Bajel and represents a notable addition to its portfolio.

The contract, awarded by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, pertains to the supply of service contract for the construction of 2 nos. of 765kV line bays at Sikar II for Sikar II - Bhadla II 765kV line, associated with the Transmission Scheme for the evacuation of power from Solar Energy Zones in Rajasthan (8.1 GW) under Phase II-Part 

The project is estimated to be completed 15 months after the issuance of an NOA/LOA. The contract is expected to contribute significantly to Bajel's growth and portfolio expansion in the sector..
