Tata Motors to increase prices of passenger vehicles from July 17
Tata Motors on Monday said it will hike prices of its passenger vehicles with effect from July 17. It will increase the prices of its passenger vehicles (including EVs) by an average of 0.6% across models and variants.
The company attributed the need for this increase to offset the enduring impact of past fluctuations in input costs.
Further, the auto company planning to bolster its operations by expanding manufacturing capacity. The facility at Sanand, Gujarat, acquired from Ford, can produce 300,000 vehicles annually, which can be scaled to 420,000 units over time.
