DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations: Awarding of a tender from the Karnataka State Remote Sensing Applications Centre

On August 10, 2023, the Karnataka State Remote Sensing Applications Centre (KSRSAC), a Nodal Agency for the implementation of Remote Sensing (including Photogrammetry) and GIS projects in the State of Karnataka, awarded a tenure to DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations. 

The project is worth Rs 55.43 lakh, and DroneAcharya will provide several drone systems with RGB and thermal sensors as part of it. Additionally, the company will take the lead in ensuring the seamless integration of these technologies and provide drone pilot training programs for Karnataka Forest Department employees. The drone systems procured through this tender will be invaluable additions to the Karnataka Forest Department’s existing surveillance and Search - and - Rescue infrastructure. 

These drones would drastically change how the department monitors and safeguards Karnataka’s vast forested regions due to their superior flying ability and innovative sensor technology.
