Supriya Lifescience and Kalinga Institute pioneer Oral Cancer Detection Kit

Supriya Lifescience Ltd, a prominent Mumbai-based pharmaceutical ingredients manufacturer, has collaborated with Bhubaneswar's Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) to introduce a groundbreaking oral cancer detection kit named Quickblue.

This innovative kit promises swift and cost-effective oral cancer identification, potentially reducing the need for extensive clinical trials. Dr. Sash Wagh, Chairman of Supriya Lifescience Ltd, foresees a significant reduction in oral cancer detection costs, particularly in cases of non-healing ulcers, eliminating the requirement for multiple biopsies. Early detection is crucial, especially in regions like India and Asia where oral cancer cases are prevalent.

This endeavor aligns with Supriya Lifescience's vision of producing specialized products to meet medical gaps, marking a substantial diversification of their product range. The partnership signifies a commitment to innovation in healthcare. Dr. Mrutyunjay Suar, Director General of R&D and Innovation at KIIT University, commends this collaboration, underscoring KIIT's dedication to pioneering life-saving solutions through advanced research.
