- The name of the Company was changed from Timex Watches Limited to Timex Group India Limited on October 15, 2007.
- The Company's Parent Company is Timex Group Luxury Watches B.V., Netherlands and Ultimate Holding Company is BP Horological Group L.L.C. The principal activities of the Company are manufacturing and trading of watches and rendering of related after sales service.
- The manufacturing facility is located at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.
- It provides information and technology support services to the Group Companies. In Aug.'93, the company came out with a public issue of 35.74 lac 12.5% PCDs of Rs 140 each, aggregating Rs 50.
