- The education business of Career Point Edutech Limited traces its roots back to 1993, when Career Point Limited, now known as CP Capital Limited was founded with the aim of transforming education and creating new learning opportunities for students across India.
- Over the past three decades, the business has steadily expanded from test preparation into school education and higher education, building a reputation for academic excellence and innovation. Pursuant to the Scheme of Arrangement approved by the Hon'ble NCLT, the Education Business Undertaking of CP Capital Limited (CPCL), along with its associated assets and liabilities was transferred to the Company as a going concern basis with effect from April 1, 2023 and the said Scheme was given effect to the merger on April 1, 2025.
- In terms of the said Scheme, the Company allotted 1,81,92,939 equity shares having face value of Rs 10 each to the eligible shareholders of demerged entity CP Capital Limited on 09.
