Genus Power Infrastructure Limited, a Kailash Group Company, was incorporated in 1992 as 'Genus Overseas Electronics Limited'.
The name of the Company was changed from 'Genus Overseas Electronics Limited' to 'Genus Power Infrastructures Limited' in March, 2007.
The Company is engaged in manufacturing and providing smart metering solutions and services to utilities (power, gas and water) globally, with a focus on India.
It also delivers comprehensive and innovative solutions as an Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Provider (AMISP), to meet the evolving needs of power utilities and distribution companies (DISCOMs). The company manufactures various ranges of high-end programmable multi-functional intelligent Single Phase & Three Phase Electronic Meters with in-built advanced security and anti-tamper features such as AMR (Automatic Meter Reader) enabled Meters, Audit Meters, etc.

About MIRC Electronics Ltd

MIRC Electronics Limited was initially incorporated as a private limited company in 1981 by Gulu Mirchandani, Vijay Mansukhani and Sonu Mirchandani of the Onida group.
Later on, it transformed as a public limited company in 1992.
MIRC is a market leader in consumer electronics goods, it manufactures the well known Onida brand of colour televisions (CTVs), Air Conditioners, Washing Machines, TV-Components & Spares and Electronic Tuners.
The company has two subsidiary companies Akasaka Electronics Ltd. and Imercius Technologies (India) Ltd. Other group companies are Onida Saka and Monica Electronics. MIRC tapped the capital market to finance its CTV expansion and diversification into the audio segment.
Commercial production at the expanded capacity started from Jul.'1995.
