The operating profit margins were marginally better in Q4FY23 at 77.10% compared to the year ago quarter and the sequential quarter. However, while the net margins were better than the sequential net margins, they were lower than the year ago net margins, albeit by a very small margin of just about 16 basis points.

For the fiscal year FY23 ending March 2023, the board has recommended final dividend of Rs48 per share on a face value of Rs5 per share. That works out to a dividend yield of 2.7%. In the last couple of years, AMCs have seen pressure on fee income due to greater focus on passive funds over active funds in terms of AUM growth.
