About Gillanders Arbuthnot & Company Ltd

Gillanders Arbuthnot and Company Limited (GACL) originated as a partnership firm in the early part of the 19th Century, started by Mr. F. M. Gillanders and Mr. G. C. Arbuthnot.
It was incorporated as a Limited Company on 1st February, 1935 at Kolkata.
The Company became part of well-known Kothari Group of Companies in the late 60's.
The Company primarily deals in manufacture and sale of tea, manufacture and sale of yarn made out of Cotton and Man Made Fibres, manufacture and sale of Steel Structural, Pipes and Equipment and designing, supplying, erectioning and commissioning of projects on turnkey basis and letting out of property on Rent. The company operates with five divisions i.e.
Tea, Kalamazoo, Adequate Weighters and Property divisions.

About GRP Ltd

GRP Limited, formerly known Gujarat Reclaim and Rubber Products Limited was incorporated in June, 1974.
The name of the Company was subsequently changed to GRP Limited w.e.f. 21st June, 2012.
At present, Company is engaged in manufacturing of reclaim rubber from scrap of whole tyres, tread peelings, natural rubber tubes, butyl tubes, moulded rubber products for different applications in both, tyre and non tyre rubber products.
Its other businesses include Power generation from Windmill, Manufacturing of Engineering Plastics, Custom Die Forms and Polymer Composite Products. In 1978, the company started production with a modest capacity of only 2400 MT at Ankleshwar in Gujarat.
In the year 1984, they received their first export order.
