- Automobile Corporation of Goa Limited (ACGL) was incorporated on 1 September 1980 as a Public Limited Company.
- Company was jointly promoted by Economic Development Corporation of Goa Limited (EDC) a Government of Goa Undertaking and Tata Motors Limited.
