- DCM Shriram Fine Chemicals Limited was incorporated on September 29, 2021 as a Public Limited Company and a Certificate of Incorporation dated September 30, 2021 was issued by Central Registration Centre, Manesar.
- Prior to the Scheme becoming effective, Company was a wholly owned subsidiary of DCM Shriram Industries Limited. Fine Chemical business started in early 1970s with a manufacturing facility in Daurala, Near Meerut, Uttar Pradesh using chemical processes with Photochlorination of Toluene, Cyanation etc.
- Over time, DCM Shriram Industries Limited (DCMSR) leveraged its process expertise to develop and manufacture value-added products and derivatives, with Photochlorination and Cyanation forming its core technological strengths. In 1994, a new unit was set up as a separate company in the name of 'Daurala Organics Limited', to produce high value/ high technology drug intermediates.
