Incorporated on August 27, 1990 ADF Foods Limited (Formerly known as American Dry Fruits Limited) went public in October, 1991.
The company was promoted by Hariram Mewawala, Ramesh Thakkar and Kishore Thakkar.
Mewawala has over 60 years of business experience and was instrumental in setting up American Dry Fruits Stores, a government-recognised export house.
The Company changed its name to 'ADF Foods Limited' from December, 1999.
Presently, Company is engaged in the manufacture and selling of food products like pickles, chutneys, ready to eat items, paste and sauces, frozen foods, spices etc. Within the country, the company markets pickles and masalas under the brand name Mother's Recipe.

About Saptarishi Agro Industries Ltd

Promoted jointly by R K Jajoo and K L Puri along with Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) in February, 1992, Saptarishi Agro Industries Limited has been a pioneer company set up in India for manufacturing Button Mushroom with a capacity of 3000 tonnes per annum (TPA).
The Company is engaged in manufacturing of mushrooms and other allied agro based products and it has commenced trading business activities.
Mushrooms are produced utilizing agricultural wastes.. The company has financial, technical and marketing collaborations with Dalcem Veciap Agro Industries, Holland.
In 1993, the company came out with a public issue to part-finance the project to set up the Export Oriented Unit (EOU) at Madurantakam, Tamil Nadu.
It started commercial production in June, 1994. Company had a very bad period during the year ended 31 ' March 2012.
