About AGI Greenpac Ltd

AGI Greenpac Limited was initially incorporated in year 1960 as 'Hindustan Twyfords Limited' by the Somany Family (Promoter Group) in collaboration with Twyfords Ltd, UK. In 1969, the company changed their name from Hindustan Twyfords Limited to Hindustan Sanitary ware & Industries Limited.
Thereafter, the name was changed from Hindustan Sanitaryware & Industries Limited to HSIL Limited in March, 2009 and later in March 2022, the name changed from HSIL Limited to 'AGI Greenpac Limited'. The Company is engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling of Container Glass bottles, PET bottles and Security Caps and Closures under Packaging Products segment.
It mainly operates into four distinct business divisions, namely Building Products Division (BPD), Consumer Products Division (CPD), Retail division (RD) and Packaging Products Division (PPD).

About Ester Industries Ltd

Incorporated in February, 1985, Ester Industries Limited is a manufacturer of polyester film and Specialty Polymer.
Promoted by Sitaram Singhania, along with J P Shroff, the Company is having installed capacity 36000 TPA Polyester Chips, 18000 TPA Polyester Films and 6000 TPA Dope-dyed Coarse Denier Polyester Filament Yarn.
The total cost of the project was Rs 84.4 crores, which was part-financed by a public issue in Feb.'88.
Ester Industries was the first company in the country to have integrated operations to manufacture three products, polyester chips, polyester film and dope-dyed polyester filament yarn.
It operate a working plant in Khatima, Uttaranchal. The Company is having two wholly owned foreign subsidiaries i.e Ester International (USA) Ltd and Ester Europe GmbH. EIL is considering various options, including private placement with FIIs, to raise around Rs 14 cr to pay the overdue interest as per the revival package.
