About Ankit Metal & Power Ltd
Ankit Metal & Power Limited (erstwhile Ankit Steel Works Private Limited) was incorporated on 7th August, 2002 and renamed as Ankit Metal & Power Private Limited, as a Private Limited Company on 9 July, 2004.
Pursuant to change in the corporate status of the Company from Private to Public, the name was further changed to Ankit Metal & Power Limited effective from 31st August, 2004.
The Company came a long way to position itself as one of the integrated steel plant to produce rolled products comprising of TMT Bars, Sponge Iron, Steel Melting shop, Billets and Rolling Mill along with 12.5 MW Captive Power Plant.
The company has set up an Integrated Steel Plant at village Chhatna, Jorehira in Bankura District of West Bengal.
This project comprises (i) 1,05,000 TPA Sponge Iron Plant (ii) 65,140 TPA Billet Casting Plant (iii) 1,00,000 TPA Re-Rolling Mill (iv) 8.
About Newmalayalam Steel Ltd
Newmalayalam Steel Limited was incorporated on March 31, 2017 as NewMalayalam Steel Private Limited', a Private Limited Company with Registrar of Companies, Central Registration Centre.
Further, Company was converted into a Public Limited Company and the name was changed to Newmalayalam Steel Limited' and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated February 1, 2024 was issued by the Central Processing Centre.
Company is engaged in manufacturing galvanised pipes, tubes, and sheets.
The Company took over the entire business of M/s.
Demac Steel on a going concern basis, through the Business Transfer Agreement in August 2017.
In 2018, the Company commenced manufacturing of galvanised pipes, tubes, and sheets by installing another electric resistance welding tube mill of an installed capacity of 3,500 MT in their manufacturing unit at Thrissur, in Kerala.
