About Ansal Housing Ltd

Ansal Housing Limited was initially incorporated as 'Ansal Housing Finance & Leasing Limited' in October, 1983.
A public issue was announced in December 1985 and the name was changed to Ansal Housing and Construction Limited on May 31, 1990.
The name of the Company was later changed from Ansal Housing and Construction Limited to Ansal Housing Limited on 18 December, 2018.
Presently, the Company is engaged in the business of promotion, construction and development of integrated townships, residential and commercial complexes, multi-storeyed buildings, flats, houses, apartments, shopping malls etc. In August 1999, the Ansal group has drawn a major restructuring plan, involving the consolidation of certain operations of AHCL,APIL and AB. Diversification into the infrastructure sector was put on hold, with focus on real estate and hotel business.

About Swadeshi Polytex Ltd

Incorporated in March, 1970, Swadeshi Polytex Limited (SPL) was promoted by the Swadeshi Cotton Mills Company.
It entered into a collaboration with Clickers Zimmer, Frankfurt, Germany, for the purchase of machinery and supply of technical know-how.
Initially, the Company manufactured polyester staple fibre.
Presently, it is engaged in the activities of Real Estate Development and allied business. The company has been stagnating since its inception.
No expansion or diversification plans were implemented although a letter of intent was obtained in 1981 to raise the capacity from 6100 tpa to 12,200 tpa.
