Aruna Hotels Limited was erstwhile incorporated as Aruna Sunrise Hotels Limited in September 1960, which had diversified its presence in Sugar, Hotels and Chemicals.
The main activities of the Company are to carry on the business of developing, owning, acquiring, renovating, operating, managing and promoting hotels, restaurants etc.
Name of the Company was changed from Aruna Sunrise Hotels Limited to Aruna Hotels Limited on 6 February, 2007. The company had undertaken restructuring exercise and divested Sugar unit, flour mill and Alum unit(Chemicals unit) thus leaving the company with only Hotel business. The company set up a discotheque and bar which has become very popular.To increase the efficiency of the hotel division it has set up a discotheque & bar which has become very popular.

About Asian Hotels (West) Ltd

Asian Hotels (West) Ltd was originally incorporated on January 8, 2007 as a private limited company with the name Chillwinds Hotels Pvt Ltd. The company owns and operates hotels.
In August 25, 2007, the company was converted into a public limited company and the name of the company was changed to Chillwinds Hotels Ltd. The company entered into a scheme of arrangement and de-merger with Asian Hotels Ltd (now known as Asian Hotels (North) Ltd) and Vardhman Hotels Ltd (now known as Asian Hotels (East) Ltd) which became effective on February 11, 2010. Pursuant to the scheme of arrangement and de-merger, the Mumbai undertaking comprising of Hotel Hyatt Regency, Mumbai along with shares held in Aria Hotels & Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd of the Asian Hotels Ltd was de-merged and vested in the company.
