Incorporated at Kolkata in July, 1989, Associated Alcohols and Breweries Limited commenced business in August, 1989 and took over Associated Distilleries in April, 1990.
The company was promoted by Bhagwati Kedia and Anand K Kedia, scions of the Kedia family, which entered the liquor business 4 decades ago.
The Company is one of the leading and largest liquor manufacturers in Central India.
The Company's principal business is manufacturing and trading of ENA, Indian Made Indian Liquor (Country Liquor), Indian Made Foreign Liquor and Hand sanitizer. Engaged into manufacture of portable alcohol, the Company has a modern distillery in Khargone, MP. It manufactures potable liquor and blended liquor, under different brands like Royal Falcon, Gold Seal, Jamaican Magic (rum), Karapov Vodka, etc.

The name of the Company was changed from Globus Agronics Limited to Globus Spirits Limited on January 23, 2007. The Company is one of the leading players in the Alcohol industry in North India.
It is engaged in the business of manufacture, marketing and sale of Industrial Alcohol comprising Rectified Spirit and Extra-Neutral Alcohol, Country Liquor, and Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL).
The company has two distilleries, one at Alwar in Rajasthan and the other at Panipat in Haryana. The Company has a brand portfolio of their own in the country liquor segment, such as Rana, Rajasthan No 1, Ghoomar, Samalkha No 1, Samalkha ki Saunfi; and in IMFL segment, such as White Lace Gin, White Lace Vodka, Samurai Gold Extra Rich Blend Whisky, Samurai Premium Whisky, 20-20 Premium Whisky, GR 8 Times Whisky and Hannibal Legendry Rum.
