Asston Pharmaceuticals Limited was incorporated on 16th April 2019 as 'Asston Pharmaceutical Pvt.
Limited' to contract produce pharmaceutical products for export market.
Later on 1st April 2024, Company acquired Ferron Lifecare Private Limited, specializing into nutraceuticals business and produced nutraceutical products at their Ambarnath facility.
Ferron Lifecare Private Limited, incorporated on 30th January 2020.
Finally, 'Asston Pharmaceuticals Private Limited' was converted into a Public Limited Company in the name of 'Asston Pharmaceuticals Limited' on 29th August 2024 and received FDA approval for its Ambarnath facility on 2nd December 2024 to produce pharmaceutical products. Presently, Company is involved in the business of manufacturing and marketing of Tablets, Capsules, Oral Liquid, External Preparations (Ointment, Cream, Gel and Lotion) and Oral Powder (Sachet, Dry Syrup) etc.

Promoted byJayshree D Patel, Gujarat Themis Biosyn Limited (GTBL) was incorporated in 1981 as a joint sector company with Gujarat Industrial Investment Corporation Ltd (GIIC) and Chemosyn (P) Ltd. The Company commenced production in August 1985.
It was subsequently taken over in June 1991 by Yuhan Group, South Korea and Pharmaceutical Business Group (India) Ltd. (PBG); a unique consortium of five competing drug companies - Themis Medicare Ltd., Kopran Ltd., Anant & Co., Cadila Health Care Ltd. (Zydus) and Lyka Labs Ltd. It is actively managed by Themis Medicare Ltd. (JV company of Gedeon Richter Ltd, Hungary) since 2007. Initially manufacturing the antibiotic, erythromycin, GTBL obtained licences to manufacture bulk drugs like rifampicin, cephalexin, griseofulvin and their formulations in 1990.
