About Automotive Axles Ltd

Automotive Axle Limited (AAL) is established in 1981 as a joint venture between the esteemed Indian conglomerate Kalyani Group and Meritor Inc., USA. As a leading Automotive system manufacturer, it specialise in manufacturing of Rear Drive Axle Assemblies, S-Cam actuated quick-change air brakes and trailer axles catering to vehicles within the 7 to 55 tonnes gross vehicle weight (GVW) range.
Its manufacturing facilities strategically located across India in Mysuru (Karnataka), Rudrapur (Uttarakhand) and Jamshedpur (Jharkhand). The Company's Rs 30.3- Cr. project at Hootagali near Mysore, commenced commercial production in Jul.'84.
The company entered the capital market with a public issue. The Company came out of the purview of the Sick Industrial Companies Act, 1985.
But, the very next year, its Networth started to erode.

Divgi TorqTransfer Systems Limited was originally incorporated as a Private Company with the name 'Divgi Metalwares Private Limited' on December 16, 1964, issued by the Registrar of Companies at Mumbai and later on, Company was changed to 'Divgi TorqTransfer Systems Limited' vide a fresh Certificate of Incorporation on March 10, 2022.
The Company is amongst the very few automotive component entities in India to develop and provide system level transfer case, torque coupler and dual clutch automatic transmissions (DCT) solutions.
It design, develop, manufacture and supply engineered, turnkey solutions and components to automotive OEMs across India, USA, China, Korea, Russia and Others. The Company manufacture and supply a variety of products under the broad categories of torque transfer systems, including 4 wheel-drive (4WD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) products; synchronizer systems for manual transmissions and DCT; and components for torque transfer systems and synchronizer systems in manual transmission, DCT, and EVs.
