About Axita Cotton Ltd

Axita Cotton Limited was incorporated as Private Limited Company with the name 'Axita Cotton Private Limited' at Ahmedabad on July 16, 2013.
Consequent up on the conversion of the Company from Private Limited Company to Public Limited Company, the name of the Company was changed to 'Axita Cotton Limited' on October 15, 2018.
Company is in Manufacturing sector, it is engaged in Cotton Bales Manufacturing.
The Company is also involved in Trading and Export of Raw Cotton Bales, Yarn, Cotton Seeds and Agri Commodities. Before incorporating the company, the Promoters, Mr. Nitinbhai Govindbhai Patel and Mr. Amitkumar Govindbhai Patel along with other relatives started business under a Partnership Firm named, Aditya Oil Industries in 2007.
It was formed to start business of production and trading of Seed cotton (Kapas), Cotton Seed, Cotton Seed Oil, Cotton cake etc and for which land admeasuring area of 5708 Square Meters was acquired at Chattral, Kadi Road, Mehsana.

Gokak Textiles Limited was formerly incorporated under the name of ANS Textiles (Bangalore) Limited on March 27, 2006.
The name was changed to Gokak Textiles Limited, with effect from January 23, 2007.
As per the Scheme of Arrangement, the Textile Division of erstwhile Forbes Gokak Limited (now known as Forbes & Company Limited) was transferred to the Company with effect from April 1, 2007. On January 17, 2012, Company formed a wholly owned subsidiary Gokak Power & Energy Ltd. In 2011-12, the whole of Hydro Power Business of the Company was transferred to its subsidiary Gokak Power & Energy Limited for a consideration of Rs.120 Crores effective from 20th September, 2012. In 2024-25, Suryoday One Energy Private Limited has merged into the Company with effect from April 01, 2022 and the Scheme of Arrangement is made effective from May 24, 2024.
